Ages 16+

Interested in art quilting but not so interested in sewing? Come and find out what fusible materials can do to move your fiber art away from traditional materials and techniques. We will design and produce a small wall quilt while decreasing the need for the more tedious aspects of quilt making. Fusible products will be provided. Materials list below.

Instructor: Stacy Koehler

Dates: Monday through Wednesday, 6/29 - 7/1 (3 sessions)
Time: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Materials List

4 fat quarters of quilters cotton. Stick to solid colors or near-solids. These fabrics will be for your background, backing and binding. Since the demise of Joann’s, you may have to go to a quilt shop to get these. Nearest is Quilting Needle in Hampton.

Straight pins.

Fabric Scissors. Also bring small ones if you have them.

Craft tweezers
