    Many insects are very colorful with beautiful patterns on their bodies and wings. Let's create a clay sculpture of your favorite insect. It can be free standing or hang on the wall. Bring several images of your insect to the first class ( bug, beetle, butterfly, moth, bee, etc.)

Join us for a fun, refreshing and completely judgement free class as we learn the basics of wheel throwing. Learn to make one-of-a-kind, unique to you mugs, bowls, and vases, while tapping into that inner-child and finding joy in getting your hands muddy again. *While this class will be going over the basics, all levels are welcome.* All materials included.

      Learn the solid build technique to make a sculpture of an animal in a fun pose! Decorate with underglazes like never before! Previous hand-building experience helpful but not necessary. Come with an animal in mind and reference photos if possible. All materials included.

      Are you obsessed with HBO's The Great Pottery Throw Down? Do you want to try some of the challenges yourself and learn how they are done? Take this class to test your wheel throwing skills and have some fun trying goofy challenges, just like on the show! Students must have wheel throwing experience. All materials included.

      Nothing tastes better than brownies baked in a clay baking pan made by you. In this class we will make baking dishes, casseroles, cups, dishes, bowls, oil dispensers, and other ceramic items for use in the kitchen. The pottery you handbuild or wheel throw will be food, microwave, dishwasher, and oven safe. All materials included.

      Let's shed some light on the situation shall we? Learn how to hand build your very own working lamp.  Create different shapes and patterns to make it your own.  Pick a glaze color for your lamp and pick it up after it's been fired.

      Let's weave a basket out of clay! This workshop is for all experience levels and even those who have never touched clay before.  We will use molds to place the woven strips in the shape of the basket.  Pick a glaze color for your basket and pit it up after it's been fired.

      Fire! Smoke! Drama! Instant Gratification! That's what Raku pottery is all about.  This three week course will focus on wheel and hand building raku pieces that will be fired during the last class out back in our raku kiln.  All materials included.
