We will cover the entire process of making and finishing a pre-designed table topper or small wall quilt, from fabric selection through to the last stitch of the binding. If you’ve wanted to learn to quilt, or you’ve been quilting but are unsure of your skills, this is a chance to get up and running or hone those skills. Very Important! A sewing machine in good working order. What that means:

- You’ve gotten it out, set it up and have sewn on it for 10 minutes sometime in the last 6 months. You do not want to find out that it doesn’t run well when you get to class.

If you have a rotary cutting mat, bring it. If not, some will be provided. Don’t put out the money for one until you know you want to keep quilting.
Very Important! A sewing machine in good working order. What that means:

- You’ve gotten it out, set it up and have sewn on it for 10 minutes sometime in the last 6 months. You do not want to find out that it doesn’t run well when you get to class.
- You have cleaned it and oiled it in the week before class.
- It has a new needle and you bring extra needles to class.
- If you have an open toes foot and a walking foot, bring them to class. If you have feet, but don’t know what they are, bring them to class and maybe we can figure it out. The feet are nice to have, but are not required.
- You have your machine’s manual. Bring it with you, or have a link to its on-line manual on your phone.

We will have a zoom meeting at least 2 weeks before class to answer any questions and give you some ideas for fabrics, if you need to buy them. Do your best to come to the meeting.
