  • Please choose this option only if you have a current NHAC membership. Choosing this option without a current membership delays finalizing your registration. Thank you.
  • Please choose this option if you do not have a current NHAC membership. If you are registering a student (grades k thru 12), please consider the $20 yearly student membership-it's the same cost as the $20 non-member fee!

As an adult signing up for more than one class, it will cost less to add a yearly membership instead of paying the non-member fee for each class!

Please click on the MEMBERSHIP tab for more information. Thank you.

Registration deadline October 19

**Student MUST bring their own sewing machine

Make friends with your sewing machine! Using a provided apron pattern, students will learn how to read a pattern, purchase appropriate material, layout and cut pattern pieces & construct a project including basic seaming, turning ties, patch pocket construction, top stitching, pleating and simple lining. A working sewing machine with needle and an extension cord must be brought to all 4 classes, including bobbins, manual if possible, neutral/grey thread and scissors.

Week 1 includes machine familiarization and pattern reading.

Weeks 2-4 will focus on construction. Students will purchase

materials after week 1. No sewing experience required.
