Please choose this option if you do not have a current NHAC membership. If you are registering a student (grades k thru 12), please consider the $20 yearly student membership-it's the same cost as the $20 non-member fee!

Ages 14 - Adult

This class will cover the entire lettering process from pencil sketch to inked drawing to finish. We'll start with the basics of drawing individual letterforms and work up to creating your own beautiful hand lettered illustrations, building on lessons covered each week. there will be demonstrations and one-on-one instructor critiques, as well as hands-on time to work in class. Perfect for beginners wanting to learn the basics, as well as intermediate students looking to dive deeper into incorporating hand lettering in their professional work. Please bring these materials to class each week: drawing paper, graph paper, pencils, fine and broad tip markers/ Sharpies, tracing paper & ruler. Each student will receive a handbook of resources, worksheets, and other reference material covered in class to keep.
