This class will introduce you to working with clay, from throwing on the wheel, to handbuilding, to glazing. Whether you are a beginner or more advanced student, all are welcome to learn new things and to further develop their skills. All materials included.

Want to spice up your wheel thrown forms? In this class, learn how to re-shape, dart, carve, and combine forms to make them more interesting; both for function and pizazz! Students must have previously completed a 6 week pottery course at NHAC. All materials included.

NHAC 2026 Instructor Art Show and Open House
The North Hills Art Center invites you to our Open House! This come-and-go event will be held on Saturday, July 18, from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. NHAC instructors will be taking over every studio in the building to demonstrate their art, from acrylic painting and abstract printing to weaving and watercolors. This is the perfect chance to see new-to-you instructors and art firsthand. You can also check out our Instructor Art Show in the gallery, featuring artwork from current NHAC instructors, and all artwork is for sale! With refreshments and prize drawings to round out your visit, we hope you'll enjoy what our creative community has to offer.
