NHAC 2026 Instructor Art Show and Open House
The North Hills Art Center invites you to our Open House! This come-and-go event will be held on Saturday, July 18, from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. NHAC instructors will be taking over every studio in the building to demonstrate their art, from acrylic painting and abstract printing to weaving and watercolors. This is the perfect chance to see new-to-you instructors and art firsthand. You can also check out our Instructor Art Show in the gallery, featuring artwork from current NHAC instructors, and all artwork is for sale! With refreshments and prize drawings to round out your visit, we hope you'll enjoy what our creative community has to offer.

In this workshop we will learn to apply techniques that transform ordinary cigar boxes into a work of art! We will use an array of techniques and found objects to create beautiful, themed boxes. All materials included.

By creating miniature paintings on paper, we can transform them into wearable jewelry using bezels, glass cabochons and stainless-steel settings. This is a fun, relaxing class where you end up with a beautiful piece of art to wear or gift. All materials included.

Create custom patterned papers using mono-printing techniques with a gelatin plate and acrylic paint. Once torn, cut and arranged, it’s now a mixed-media artwork. We cover color mixing, texture creation, layering and composition. All materials included.
