Due to the most recent developments with COVID-19, we have made the following adjustments to the Art Center Schedule:

As mandated by the state, we are closed until the coronavirus is under control . Thank you for your patience and understanding as we adjust our programming to protect the health and safety of our patrons and the community.

Spring programming scheduled to start in April has been cancelled. Registrants will be contacted directly with details.

The Annual Spring Regional Art Show, scheduled to open April 18th, has been cancelled.

The current gallery benefit show, Art for Animals, may be viewed below (please scroll down).

You may purchase artwork in this show by contacting the art center via email or voicemail. Sales revenue from this show will give much needed support to the Hello Bully and Pigsburgh Squealers rescues, as well as the NHAC and our local participating artists.

PLEASE NOTE: When plans to reopen are made, we will also determine if it is possible to schedule a closing reception.

All Open Studio Sessions (Tuesday Night Pottery, Multi-Media, Thursday Morning Painting and Ikebana)

have been cancelled until further notice.

The Three Rivers Fiber Focus meeting scheduled for April 27 has been cancelled.

"An Art Lecture with Madeline Gent" scheduled for May 2 has been cancelled.

The Art of Gloria Dufresne Art Show scheduled for  May 23-June 5 has been postponed.

During these difficult times, as a small nonprofit serving this community, we are grateful for your understanding and in need of your continued support. Donations are greatly appreciated and can be made through this link: Donate

Thank you to those who visited the North Hills Art Center on September 28 as we Celebrated our 60th Anniversary and helped RAD (Allegheny Regional Asset District*)  celebrate its 25th year.  Our Executive Director, Kim Freithaler, and Board President Diane Pontoriero met with Jim Cunningham of WQED to talk about the North Hills Art Center.  You can listen to the podcast here

Thank you also to the wonderful volunteers who helped 'make it all happen'!  Without the support of our volunteers, members, board and staff, we would not be able to provide events like this.  If you attended our event, please leave a review on Facebook.  Your feedback helps us to bring more FREE events, informative demos and lectures to the Art Center.        f

*RAD is the Allegheny Regional Asset District. RAD funds regional assets from one-half of the proceeds of the 1% Allegheny County Sales and Use Tax.  The mission of RAD is to support and finance regional assets in the areas of libraries, parks and recreation, cultural, sports and civic facilities and programs.
