Unleash your child's creativity with North Hills Art Center classes and workshops.


  • Classes are designed to be age-appropriate. Please make sure you are enrolling your child in a class that matches his or her current age.
  • For the safety of your child, we require prompt pick-up after class.
  • Remember to have your child wear old clothes.
  • Please let us know in advance if your child has any special needs.
  • All North Hills Art Center instructors have the required PA Clearances.
  • Consider a $25 student membership, which costs less than the $30 nonmember fee!

    Let’s get our hands dirty forming clay into a variety of pieces! We will use slabs, coils, and pinched forms to make cups, bowls, sculptures, and more. In the last class, we will glaze everything we created. Bring your creativity!  2 sessions to choose from. All materials included.

    Get ready to spin to win! In this fun, hands-on 5 week pottery class, young artists will learn the exciting art of throwing clay on the pottery wheel. Students will explore the fundamentals of wheel throwing while creating cylinders, mugs, and bowls. Perfect for beginners. All materials included.

    In Mexican culture, alebrijes are guardian spirit animals that help protect your home and your heart. As Dia De Los Muertos draws near, it is a wonderful time to create a brightly colored guardian for your family, home, and heart. All materials included.
