PRIVACY POLICY
The North Hills Art Center (NHAC) collects information you provide during membership and event registration solely for the purpose of operating the NHAC and facilitating NHAC events and communication. Your personal information may be shared with NHAC employees, instructors, and volunteers as needed for the facilitation of events and communications. The NHAC does not sell or use your data for any other purpose. The NHAC does not itself collect or hold payment, credit card, or banking information. “Events” include any event organized by the NHAC including, but not limited to, classes, workshops, and gallery shows.
Contact: Members and patrons may contact the NHAC office staff or executive director for questions and support regarding privacy.
Collection: All of the data we collect and hold can be seen in your online profile when you log into the NHAC website. Payment information is not collected or managed by NHAC but by separate PCI-compliant payment provider(s).
Use: Personal data is used solely for the purpose of operating the NHAC and facilitating NHAC events and communication. This includes collecting summary statistics regarding registration, membership, and revenue in order to manage the services provided by the NHAC and apply for funding. Personal data will only be shared outside of the NHAC with verified 3rd parties if it is specifically required to execute functions directly related to NHAC events and programs.
Retention: The NHAC retains some information for a minimum of 7 years in line with taxation and audit requirements.
Access: Any information you have provided to the NHAC is accessible in your profile when you log into the NHAC website including all event registration and invoice information.
Photographs: Photographs and video may be taken at NHAC events and during classes and workshops to be used on social media and for promotional purposes. If any patron would prefer not to be photographed or would like an image of themselves removed, they may contact the NHAC office staff or executive director. (See above contact information.)
