  Using textured rolling pins and mats, you will handbuild a tray. You will be able to use the texturing tools to add dimension to the tray. The trays will be enhanced with stamps, sprig molds, underglazes and glazes. On completion, you will have a unique tray to use or give as a gift. All materials included.

  In this workshop you will create a mirror frame out of clay that you will be able to decorate with textures, sprig mold and other hand made pieces. The frames will be glazed in the second class and a mirror will be provided to be glued on when complete. All materials included.

  Learn the tricks of refined fabric fusing as you create a free-form landscape. Your image can be realistic or whimsical, depending on the shapes and fabrics chosen. Landscapes can be embellished with beads and embroidery. Finished pieces can be quilted or framed. No experience necessary. All materials included. Bring fabric scissors if you have them.

  Ice will work with the dyes to create with the colors of the rainbow. We will be using some simple tie dyeing techniques in this unique and fun way to make ice work for us. Please bring two items for dyeing. The items must be a natural fiber: cotton, bamboo, rayon, silk, wool, linen. (Polyester, nylon and any other synthetic will not dye).All dye materials included.

  In Spring and at Easter, Pysanky are a tradition in Eastern Europe. This batik method of applying layers of beeswax and egg dye to the eggs creates intricate and beautiful designs. You will create up to three eggs and learn about the symbolism in the designs and colors. Hot wax is used in this class. All materials included.

  Chinese Brush Painting, dating from 4,000 BC, is the ancient art of using simple strokes of a brush to capture a single object or an entire scene. We will learn the technique of an intentional single stroke to create this beautiful art process. All materials included.
