  In this class, you will learn the basics of wheel throwing in a relaxing, no pressure environment with the added bonus of creating specific items you will want to use every day.   Using summer blooms and botanicals, we will press the plants into slabs of clay. The clay will be placed into bowl molds. Underglazes and glazes will add color during both the construction and finishing phases. All materials included.

  As we enjoy the beautiful fall colors and changing season, we will take our inspiration from the trees around us. We will create hand built and wheel thrown clay forms using bark, leaves, and seeds as reference and decoration. We will create bark texture, make seed sprig molds and stamps and use leaves for impressions as we create our pottery pieces. All materials included.

  Liven up your holiday decorations with a hand built ginger-bread house made out of clay. We will be using templates, slabs, sprig molds, stamps, and shape cutters to create our "candy" decorated houses. At the 2nd class, use your new mug as we will dive into the world of coffee with a certified coffee master. Explore the journey from bean to cup of the most popular drink around the world.
