  Painting with watercolors is such a fluid and exciting process. We will explore the unique qualities of watercolors as we create our paintings. All skill levels welcome as we review the supplies and processes to complete works of art. Students will be able to work along with the instructor, as well as work on individual projects. We will master a variety of watercolor techniques.

  In this workshop, we will be using the fused glass to create a sculptural form. We will place and layer a variety of glass on the kiln shelf to create a wave, the wind, a flame or another sculptural shape. The glass will be tack fused to retain the three-dimensional aspect of

Everyone will create some unique pottery pieces.  The last class will focus on glazing.  A raku firing will be scheduled if the class is interested. All materials included.

  As the spring flowers burst forth and bloom we will use their beauty as inspiration to create flowers out of clay.   Every garden needs a clay garden totem to watch over the beautiful flowers and plants. You will design and create a themed totem using hand building techniques.  The totem will consist of 4-5 elements that will be glazed and stacked on a metal rod for your garden. Themes might be geometric forms, birds, animals, etc.  All materials included.

  Add a personal touch to your painting adventure with a handbuilt ceramic palette and a water cup with a brush holder.  No experience needed as we will use clay slabs to make the items in this 2 hour workshop.
