  Explore oil and acrylic painting in a relaxed atmosphere. Experienced painters can develop their style or try a new tech-nique, while new artists will be taught the basics of composition, color theory and techniques. Paint from a still life or bring a photo or picture.

  Materials list can be found below or if you have your own supplies, feel free to bring them to class instead. Oil and Acrylic Kits available through the NHAC and can be picked up the first day of class.  Must order one week prior:

  Explore oil and acrylic painting in a relaxed atmosphere. If you’d like, feel free to bring your favorite bottle of wine! Seasoned painters can work to develop their personal style or try a new technique. New artists will learn the basics of composition, color theory, and painting techniques. Paint from a provided still life or bring a photo or picture to paint.

  Learn how palette choices affect the art-work you create. Without painting color wheels and charts, we will explore color theory by creating several paintings, each using a different color scheme. Bring your own acrylics or oils (materials list here) or purchase a kit from the NHAC. Canvases will be provided.
