HOW TO WIRE 2D ARTWORK

You must have anchors, typically D-rings, on both the right and left back sides of the frame, along with picture grade hanging wire stretched across the back and secured at each anchor.

If you would rather not wire your artwork yourself, the Framing Department at Michael's on McKnight Road can do it for you. The cost to wire artwork is $5.99 per piece, and can be done in 5-10 minutes while you wait. It can also be left and picked up the next day if the Framing Department is busy.

If you wire your artwork yourself, hanging kits are available at most retailers, such as:

Unwired pieces and those with sawtooth hangers, etc, are unable to be hung with our gallery hanging system and will not be accepted.
