Healing Power of Art Program

Since 1959 our mission has been to promote and encourage art education and appreciation for people of all ages and abilities. In 2015 we established our Healing Power of Art program. This program expanded our services to members of our community who would otherwise not have access to arts education.

Feeding Creativity

Also established in 2015 as part of the Healing Power of Art, the NHAC's Feeding Creativity program works with local organizations to distribute art kits to children in our community to spark creativity and imagination.

Our goal for 2026 is to distribute 100 art kits this fall in partnership with North Hills Community Outreach. Each kit contains a drawing set, colored pencils, a watercolor set, a multimedia pad, and scholarship application, all within a reuseable project bag.

One kit costs $25 and will be assembled by our volunteers. More information on how to sponsor kits will be coming soon!

Contents of this year's art kit will vary slightly from those pictured.
