Drawing orchids is always a pleasure. Come to this two day workshop where we will work on compositions using live specimens, transfer the drawing to good paper, then complete the artwork with colored pencils. Feel free to bring lunch/snacks; breaks provided. Materials list below.

Instructor: Jeanne Perrier

Dates: Saturdays 4/10 & 4/17

Time: 9:00am - 1:00pm

Materials list:

Drawing paper or tracing paper for initial composition
Drawing board. This can be a clip board if your paper is 9x12 or smaller
Bristol Vellum OR Stonehenge OR Hot Press Watercolor Paper for final drawing
Assortment of artist quality colored pencils (Prismacolor, Derwent, Faber Castell, Caran D’Ache)
Pencil sharpener
Erasers
Orchid plant. These are available at Home Depot, Giant Eagle, etc.
