Please choose this option if you do not have a current NHAC membership. If you are registering a student (grades k thru 12), please consider the $20 yearly student membership-it's the same cost as the $20 non-member fee!

As an adult signing up for more than one class, it will cost less to add a yearly membership instead of paying the non-member fee for each class!

Ages 16 - Adult

Using acrylic or oil paints, we will capture the beauty of pets through Expressionism. Learn how to distort and radically alter a photo of our pets bringing emotion and life to the canvas. New artists will be taught the fundamentals of color theory, composition, using shapes, and value. Each class includes a demo & individual guidance. Students are encouraged to bring their own reference photo. Bring your own supplies or purchase an oil or acrylic kit available through NHAC - order by registration deadline; pick up at first class.
